Description
Cauterets, a well-known spa town, entered the history of the Tour de France fairly lat on. It was only in 1953 that it became a stopover for the first time. It was then necessary however to wait 36 years for the Tour to come back and reward Miguel Indurain's victory in the Cambasque stage.
A ride up to Cauterets stage of the 2015 Tour through main square in Cauterets, you will be tackling the short but steep climb of Cambasque scene of the Lemond - Fignon battle of the 1989 Tour.
